Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people suffering in Texas and other places as Hurricane Harvey continues its devastation along the Gulf and inland.

This is the worst storm ever in the USA, dumping the most rain in a single event ever, because when the oceans heat up, it allows for moisture and water to funnel into such a storm and to be brought inland where it is discharged in the rain fall. Scientists have called this storm to be a once in “500 years” storm. Neil DeGrasse Tyson has been attacking climate change deniers over this very storm, as if to say in the face of this raging maelstrom, how can you deny that this is the work of climate change. To be clear, he is referring to manmade climate change and not simply the change that occurs over geological time as the continents move. So how can you deny it?

Let me count the ways.

Worst storm since records have been kept? Just how long have they been kept? In fact, how long have we had rain records for that area? One hundred years? One hundred and fifty years? Not to bother wondering about those oldest of records being more interpretive dance than science. What was the rain dump on the last “500 year event?” Oh wait, we have no idea. No accurate records exist. So we really cannot say just how bad this present storm is compared to what it was the last time something this strong hit. Let alone the time before that and the time before that. In fact, if I were to open a window in Houston right now, I would be as fully informed as the Man Made Climate Change advocates. My sole advantage would be, I would know I was all wet and not have any need to pretend I was walk between the rain drops of reason and science.

Next, over the last hundred years, people have been building homes, and landscaping the natural environment to shape it to their liking. This includes dams and changing river patterns. Also includes building homes in lower lying land that is prone to such flooding. The thought being that since a bad storm only comes once in 500 years, the builder and home owner will be long dead and this will be someone else’s problem. But “Shhh” don’t tell the climate change groupies that personal responsibility should be a focus. Instead let them spout off on their poor science of climate change that lays the blame on everyone, so no one actually has to do anything.

One great model, predicted that the rains would either increase by 200% or decrease by 100%. This so called scientific model and it claims to be evidence of climate change? So they ignore this silly prediction and point to an increase in total rainfall instead. So you ignore the parts that are stupid but hype the parts that might agree with you? And yet demand that all people accept you are the scientist? The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change certainly thinks so. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0TCrGtTEQM) Total storms will drop, they say, because I thought that those would increase with a warming ocean. No, they predict, just the severity of them. This makes even less sense. Why? Could it be that their modelling is crap? “Shhh,” don’t disturb them as they admire themselves in the mirror.

How about instead of pointing to an as yet improvable theory of manmade climate change, where there is essentially nothing that can be done. Let’s stop point those fingers at imaginary demons and things that go bump in the night. Let us organize and get people moving for real environmental protection, strong protection for homeowners that their houses are not being built in low-lying land that would be prone to flooding. Require any house to be so built, be at least 8 feet off the ground. Demand that any new house come with solar panels, and wind turbines to keep some power in the house when the electrical grid goes down. Make a commitment that all government offices to be energy neutral by 2025 and any new facilities comply immediately with this directive. That all house presently being built also be energy neutral and have a goal of retrofitting all previous housing to be neutral by 2050. That all new housing being built, has to pass tests for low-lying danger and other effects of natural disasters such as flooding. See this is real change. That might be more helpful at protecting people then loud finger point at imaginary problems.

Houston is a tragedy. The suffering is unimaginable. Neil DeGrasse Tyson is a great scientist normally, but he has missed the ball on climate change or rather on Man Made Climate Change. There are real things we can do to fix and find solutions to avoid future horrors. First, let’s point the finger at the real issue, not some unproven religious idea that made not have any real evidence for hundreds of year such that our climate models don’t even work at make any sort of usable prediction, a 300 % range is not a prediction, it’s a wild ass guess. Real change can be had now. The problem is you have deal with the garbage and pseudo science of this religious movement call Man Made Climate Change. Let’s commit to real change not setting up false straw men that the Alt Right and their Neo Nazi allies can simply knock with a puff of air, that even someone as stupid as Small Hand Donald could come up with a more plausible theory then Man Made Climate Change.

Montreal is an island, and like all modern cities, people live on either shore. To get into Montreal they need to use bridges. One such bridge is the Victoria Bridge, named after the queen; this covered railroad bridge was built near 150 years ago. Only much later were wings attached to the side to allow cars to drive into Montreal as well. In the morning and evening rush hour, to expedite traffic, the bridge only allows for one way traffic. What is unique is that this bridge is also over a working lock. As this is the rapids in the river, ship traffic come to the lock to raised or lowered to the other side to continue their journey. So on occasion, people must wait as they close the bridge and stop traffic to one end or the other in order to raise or lower the bridge that allows for a ship to enter or leave on their journey.
One morning as I was driving into work, I noticed there were no cars following me. Nor was there any on the other side. There were still cars ahead of me but none behind. I was the last person out. Whatever had happened to shore was behind me. Like the last fleeing refugee, I was alone. Hard a Zombie hoard struck and killed the cars behind? Were they taken by an invading land force? Did they fall victim of a terrorist attack?
The trip was eerie as I would contently look behind me, seeking some sort of human existence to acknowledge where I had been and that, yes, it still existed. All that I had known, all that I knew, All that I had existed with were now gone. In a blink of an eye, I was the last man standing, well driving across that bridge. Unease overwhelmed me, disquiet surrounded my soul. What was it like to be that last one? Knowing all that behind you was lost. Gone. For whatever reason unable to escape, unable to continue on in their journey. Lost, trapped, would they be forgotten, or was I their only hope to spread the word of the disaster that befell the south side of Montreal’s shore line? Deep thoughts, heavy thinking, perhaps even threatening to over whelm me on my early morning journey.
Even as I pieced together, that I had simple been the last car to get ahead of the red light that stopped the rest from crossing the bridge so they could change the configuration to allow a ship entry into the lock. A simple, factual even empirical explanation, that even as my head laughed off my excess and mental indulgence into fantasy and fiction, my heart still beat that much faster as I pondered this very question, “What if I was the last man out of there?” What if indeed.

Robert Mueller just did an end run around Small Hand Donald’s pardon of criminal Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

First the facts, as president, Donald J. Trump, old small hands himself, using those tiny paws pardon former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Sheriff Joe would arrest anyone who is brown on suspicion of something. Being brown is apparently a crime in his law books. He would then dress them in pink and force them to work and live in a tent city the Arizona heat. Guilty or not he would put them to work. He was found guilty of criminal contempt of court, when Small Hand Donald put his little paws into the picture. The thinking is that he was being clever to tell his former conspirators, look at me I can pardon you from jail. As if his right, as President he has the absolute right to pardon anyone for any reason, at any time for any Federal crime. Justice Department guidelines do not trump, (sorry, I could not resist.) they do not trump, Trump’s prerogative as president to do as he would and pardon where he would like. Like a child, cooked up in the child like mind of a fool, he figures this is his best gambit to date. Yet without anyone in his surroundings to explain just how dumb this move is. First, for Sheriff Joe, who wants to clear his name, he has failed. By accepting the pardon, it is an admission that he is guilty of the crime. Or so says SCOTUS (Supreme Court of The United States). He can never clear his name as no federal court will hear his case once the pardon is granted. The question of guilt is settles. After all, he accepted a pardon and a pardon is only used to free the guilty. Never the innocent who by trusting the justice system know they will be set free in their appeals. If Sheriff Joe had allowed the justice system to work, he might have been cleared by that very system, not likely, or rather not a snow ball chance in the sun of an Arizona summer at high noon! What might have been is now he won’t be. End of story. Faustian gift, giveth the President to his loyal followers.

Now back to Mueller, as if he did not know that Trump would use the power, by pardoning Sheriff Joe, Trump showed his hand to Mueller. Mueller, showing he is light years ahead of small hand Donald, had already considered the Presidential pardon power and actually understood what it said. Small Hand Donald can pardon for Federal Crimes, not state crimes. So working hand in hand with a State Attorney, they will level both Federal and State criminal charges. Have different sovereignty, they face no double jeopardy. Small Hand Donald can pardon only one set of crimes, the federal ones, not the state. So all those people who, like in a drug investigation, where you flip the low people to turn on the higher until you hit on a conviction of Mister Big, big in a metaphorical sense, his hands are freakishly tiny, you nail the President for high crimes and have congress impeach him. Then just to make sure he goes to jail, have the local state criminal courts send him to jail for state crimes. It is not the big house, federal prison, but 50 years in Attica will see Trump end up where he clearly deserves to be in, a cell four by four, the rest of his life.

You are going to jail Donald Trump, the best course of action now is to pardon yourself and family and then resign because the people you have offended in your short stay are fighting back. Unlike you, who claim to be “kind of smart”, these people are very smart. Smarter than your mob lawyers, smarter than your Neo Nazi allies and smart by a wide margin then you. Your days are numbered as President. Do something good for once in your racist life and resign. Today.

What to do about North Korea and its missile testing, nuclear bomb testing, childish tantrums and other assorted offensive against the world. After the recent launch of a cruise missile over Japan, it has become increasingly clear that something must be done. The answer however is anything but. Some facts to keep in mind, at present, the Hermit Kingdom, can attack Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, thus putting, literally, millions of people’s lives at stake. So what can be done that won’t cost anyone their lives?  The first thing to understand is this, the issue is not a hatred of China, Korea, or anyone involved. The millions of North Koreans are also hostages as much as Seoul, South Korea or Tokyo, Japan. It makes no sense to start a war of annihilation against them as well. SO then war is out. But North Korea’s launch of a missile over Japan was an act of war in and of itself. This can no longer be ignored.  War is here whether we want it or not. The question then is who we can get to not want it that can in turn help us deal with North Korea and its leader, Kim Jong Un. See with him dead and perhaps a less fanatic person in charge, and then we might be able to negotiate a deal with them to lower tensions and reduce the chance of a war, at the same time eliminating their ICBM and nuclear warhead research. So who then can we get to do such a thing, to alter the leadership of North Korea and not be attacked in return? And that points to China who has been protecting the family of Kim for the last three generations. All the while the Kim’s have been getting worse and worse in the unstable monster that kills his own half brother with neurotoxins and has his uncle blown apart by cannon. What a dear sweet leader that he is.

We must immediately convene a conference with the world leaders who might be involved. Be sure to invite both China and North Korea for a ring side seat.  We asked for solutions both diplomatically and militarily.  And then we offer as out solution to escalate the matter by arming out allies with their own nuclear deterrence’s. This would mean installing ICBMS in South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand to make sure China gets the message, our medium is that we offer them, nuclear ICBMs to Taiwan, who is a potential future military target of the middle Kingdom. Arming their rebel province in any way usually pisses off the leadership of China. The message therein such installations would be very clear to China. We don’t like what North Korea is doing. China does not like what we are doing. They, the Chinese leadership can do something to stop it. Or we will take unilateral actions that they won’t like very much either.

Having their border surrounded by countries with advanced nuclear weapons aimed not at them but in their general direction would be as unacceptable to them as leaving North Korea in place. The result is this. Someone needs to end the government of Kim Jong Un with extreme prejudice. Then install a new leader, perhaps someone not inbreed as Kim is and who is willing to talk. Opening doors with diplomatic bargaining is always so much better then with threats. The reason why Kim is trying to make a nuclear ICBN is to protect his fiefdom. Instead, by making those weapons he has sealed his doom.

Or should we be speaking of a rat’s flea? It is clear that when a ship of yore made of wood would start to sink the rats would flee in droves, knowing the ship was going down and they having no way to stop it sought new homes. To wit, Steve Bannon, he was fired from his job at the White House why? Ostensively because he called up a left leaning progressive reporter and gave an interview that was on the record. We need to stop and uncouple that. Bannon could have called his Alma matter Breitbart and spoke with them. He could have called any other reporter or service or newspaper. Not to mention TV, cable, blogs and all over social media. So why a left leaning progressive reporter? In order to get the most exposure, the biggest splash, the biggest headline. He wanted to show the world his opinions.  And then he contradicted the President, Doll Hand Donald, himself. He had to go. And he went. But not by resigning but by being fired. That is key. He did not turn tail and run. He did not abandon the ship. He was a strong backer of the President who was betrayed by the President who fired him. He engineered this firing and all to be able to say; “Woe is me. I could have stopped this fall of Trump…” But, instead, he was fired instead. One rat indeed had fled a sinking ship.

Hope Hicks; White House Director of Communications; Mrs Trump the fourth? Time will tell. Or so a very nasty rumour says. She is just the way Doll Hand Donald likes his girls; young, very young, naive and in awe of his personality. I hope the last Mrs gets millions from ole doll hands in her divorce settlement. Too bad she cannot get the house too.

I, too, had a nightmare, it was about electing Small Hand Donald to the Presidency and when right wing Neo Nazis attacked peaceful counter demonstrators, the President accused them, the leftist women, children, priests, ministers and even a rabbi, among the many other non violent people of being the cause of the violence by not accepting their place under white supremacists boot heels. Wait? It happened! Oh, ok, never mind then.

In Spain, this week, it took Doll Hand Donald just 3 hours to condemn the terrorist’s attacks done by Muslim extremists, based solely on the word of other extremists who were not even involved. But back home, in his own back yard, it took him 2 days to then be forced by his chief of staff to say something, anything negative about attacks on peaceful protestors. Then, at the first chance he got, his very first news conference after denouncing the right wing, alt right, neo Nazi, KKK crowd, he went off script, off the rails and publicly embraced the fictional, fake news, being spread by those same hate groups and other people, right wing, alt right, neo Nazi, KKK crowd, Nazis and David Duke. The alt right were there legally, with a permit to protest and they were the ones who were attacked. All those left wing communists won’t spew their hatred all over the place without having to see them. Despite all evidence to the contrary, that the violence was started by the alt right, Doll Hand Donald even told the press how he knew better than they did because he had seen it himself, surely by watching Fox News and they, the professional journalists had not. Even if this would seemingly be their job and not his. How he knew what anyone else could have seen is beyond amazement to me. Doll Hand Donald can read minds it seems. But he knew it! And he was not afraid to say so. He also called the New York Times “Fake News”, but stopped just short of screaming “blood and soil,” one of the phrased used by the German Nazi party and re-used this past weekend. What else could we, or any rational person, be possibly expecting or can be expected, when he, Doll Hand Donald, was a slum lord in New York? He was racist towards blacks seeking housing in his apartments, such that he had to enter a plea agreement with the department of justice to avoid trial and possible jail time for his racist renting practises. Under this agreement he had to rent to minorities.

The good thing that is coming and I know it is not much comfort for people now but… the system is fighting back. I know people think the police are all racist but most are not and they are fighting back and arresting people as they can. Baltimore was but the first city to take down all their civil war statues overnight and house them in the depart of water treatments back parking lot. Where, we can hope, they rot. Can you imagine the mind set of people that first put up those statues to begin with? They bring in money to make a park in black areas of the city, green space to play and Sunday walks, only to put some Civil War general or a Chief Justice of Dread Scot fame to lord over those folks in that same park. Sort of like offering candy to a starving person only to keep it away.  To stamp, imperious, over a black area with a statue of some racist slave owner, as if to say; “This is still ours and you don’t belong here but for our sufferance.”  And worse, it has taken over 100 years to get rid of them? How unimaginable is that?

Up here, in Canada, they are feeling the same pressure. There have been like 3 sightings of such things, a Civil War plaque on a building proclaiming the spot to be where Jefferson Davis lived after losing the Civil War. When this plaque was exposed on social media, it took the building owner a grand total of 24 hours to remove it. They were like “hmm” when told about it. Then they were like “Uhmm, we are checking into this story.” Then in a full press release on all their social media sights, they simple said; “The plaque is gone.” They don’t want any part of this mess or anything associated with Doll Hand Donald and the alt right disaster ongoing down south.

Last Saturday, as the pictures emerged from Charlottesville, both the Detroit Red Wings Hockey club and the maker of Tiki Torches release statements saying we have nothing to do with the march by the alt right and stop using our products. As they were companies that were inclusive not racist. They did their denouncing within hours. Doll Hand Donald took days and he made a freaking mess of it. Whenever people say; “Well Doll Hand Donald was elected…” I correct them by saying he was not elected, he lost the popular vote by 3 million votes or more. He won the Electoral College by as little as 30 00 votes. A rounding error and we have this living nightmare. Sleep tight Doll Hand Donald and goon squad might bite.

Someone asked me if I worry about being sued for my comments on Donald J. Trump, the President of the United States of America, to whom I insultingly refer to as Small Hand Donald or Doll Hand Donald. For my part, I would say in encouragement to go for it. Where do I begin? If sued, I would ask for help, a free lawyer. I expect I would have hundreds of people offering free legal services. As part of my discovery, I would be asking for many things that he would not want to share but would have to like his tax returns. If I say he is a Russian Money Launder and the evidence is in his tax returns, he would be ordered to hand over all of them and thus they would be in the public eye. Just like Taylor Swift, I would counter sue for moral damages. Just to keep the suit going. She only sued for 10$ and refused to settle. She also won. Keep that in mind Doll Hands. Next, the amount of publicity that would bring would be overwhelming. Everyone would flock to this blog to see what I was saying about him that had his so upset. I would be getting interviews on CNN and MSNBC all the day long. People would send money, buy my books, and generally encourage my writings. Even if it was just to get under old Doll Hands tiny finger nails. Let’s just say he would win, he won’t but if he did, he would win nothing for I am a poor writer with no money. He could share my bag of Cheeto’s only half eaten. But in the end, he would not win on two counts. First, what I am saying is true and you cannot be held libel for the truth, it does set you free. Lastly, as a public figure, Small Hands, is nigh impossible to slander or defame because of the very spotlight he is under for being President. Am I insulting him or am I redressing Grievances to the government. The courts say the latter. So I am suit proof. Bring on the lawyers Doll Hand. I am ready and waiting for you!

Have you ever heard the story of the welfare queen? Just read any Neo-Nazis publication. Ask Small Hand Donald for the URL, I am sure he knows all the web pages by heart. It is stories of some minority have eight kids, all by different fathers, and living off the tax payer money. At the same time, they live a life of luxury and a care free existence. If you don’t know what I am talking about, just wait for the next politician to speak on welfare reform. That is the myth. Let’s turn to a real present day welfare queen. Only he is a white male. When it was brought up that Small Hand Donald President Donald J. Trump, had gone bankrupt like 8 times, all he could reply was that he was a smart business person who used existing laws to cut himself a tax break for like twenty years or more. To my mind, being a smart business person would mean making money, creating jobs and running successful business. Not going bankrupt. Then like the stereotype welfare queen, usually referred to in the most vulgar racist terms, such as sucking off the tit of the taxpayer in an orgy of excess paid for by hard working middle class people like. So that the whole message is to hate minorities especial women with kids. Well then what is Small Hand Donald doing? He is getting millions of dollars in tax breaks and refunds instead of poverty like spare change that a real poor person would get from the government. So what does he then do when he had sunk to the bottom? Why like all welfare queens in the racist stereotype, Small Hand Donald turned to a life of crime. He began to launder money for the Russian Mob. Hence why he was in their pocket, and why the Russian Government, the self same criminals in the Russian Mob, began to try and influence the election of the biggest welfare queen from Queens New York, Donald J. Trump himself, AKA Small Hand Donald.

Understanding this election, the religious right, to the tune of 81% of them voted for Small Hand Donald. In doing so, they gave up any moral authority as they sanctioned a rapist, “Grab’em by the pussy,” they sanctioned a traitor, selling out to Russian money laundering for his wealth. And they sanctioned a moral degenerate who has not even read the Bible. All for their hatred of Hilary Clinton? Might be more than just her name, but her sex as well. The so called “Bible Belt” is in an ongoing war against reproductive rights such as family planning and abortion. Thankfully, this is part of a dying generation, with the younger people being more open to other people from other cultures, religions and policies. As well, the browning of America, as minorities will overtake the white population by 2040, which if they have not been gerrymandered into tight enclaves, should swing the government to progressive policies. As well, at the same time, at least two more cases are heading to the Supreme Court where hopefully one of them will be accepted and become a law under which civil liberties can challenge the racist partitions that allowed the Republicans to win 40% of the vote in Wisconsin but 60% of the seats. And as an added bonus, as the viewing audience of Fox New is on average 78 years old and is only getting older as the years pass by, Fox will be seeing themselves aged out of business by their own catering to “old white guy” politics. It is no longer the era of the TV show “Mad Men” where the notion of “Civil Elegance” coined by Studs Terkel. Where minorities knew their “place” and allowed the “natural” order of things to exist, in the Fox News world order that allowed white men to sexually harass any female they saw because it was their “natural, God given” right to do so? Times they are a changing. And about time too. The next twenty years are going to be all about who will control the next thousand years of American history. And who will adapt and who will be run off the road. Simply put, the era of yesteryear, where White Males were the end all, be all of everything, has come and is now well on its way to being gone. The hold of the religious right to its members is slipping with each generation. The political ideology of selfishness and shameless behaviour without consequences is over. This lesson needs to be learned not only by the Republicans but by the Democrats as well. They cannot keep the same line up of corporatist, right wing fools and hold on to the vote. Progressive candidates are going to run primary challenges and will unseat them. The anger in the field is keeping Republicans from any sort of meetings with their voters. Imagine what it will be like next year when the whole house is up for grabs. A clean slate of people running for office with progressive legislative goals will overwhelm the Republican house and perhaps carry over and take the Senate. Leaving Small Hand Donald and his neo Nazi buddies not only in the fringe but actively being sought by police for high crimes and misadventures as seen in their behavior in Charlottesville among other places. As they well should be. A better tomorrow, here we come… I hope they don’t screw it up…

I have to go to the dentist next week, near a mall. So when I told mother where I was going and where it was located, she was like; “I am going as well.” I was like; “You are coming with me to the dentist?” She replied; “Hell no, you do that on your own. When you are finished, come and find me in the shopping mall to take me home!” At least she has her priorities straight. Her shopping is way more important then way below that which is my pain… thanks Mom!
But speaking of straight priorities, let me tell you about when I went to my last dentist, key word there? “Last.” You will see why. I have a rotten mouth with lots of problems with my teeth, so much so that I have been going to the same dentist for the last forty years. So about ten teeth are sheared off at or below the gum line, they have to be extracted and then implants put in. So I go to this dentist, forty years of going to him, key point top remember here. I show him what I have and what work needs to be done. He agrees that this work has to be done but first we have stuff even more important. Really? You need to know that these teeth, all ten stumps are slowly dying. Very slowly and it takes weeks before they die and the pain fades away. So as I eat, food gets into them, and they eventually die from that, I guess, or die on their own from other cause that I don’t even know why. All of which is spectacularly painful. A cruel pain that very little will help resolve except to drink beer or alcohol. That helps, somewhat. So something more important to do? Well, considering the agonizing pain I have been having, let’s get that done first. I don’t want anything worse than the pain I already have. So he does what Dentists do and fills in three small nicks, which I did not even notice on the front teeth! They caused me no pain and were no problem to eat with etc, but unlike extraction which I needed to stop the pain, extractions are hard to operate and remove, especially when they are molars and below the gum line. Those small nicks are the easiest things to do, in front and on the top. Best of all, they pay the most as they can charge the most for repairs. He can and did charge me like 250$ each, extractions pay only like 75-100$ per tooth. There goes my insurance coverage of one thousand dollars, all of it spent on three cosmetic fillings. All because it was important that I keep my “Hollywood smile.” Direct quote. Only problem is? I don’t smile. I am in too much pain from those teeth that should have been extracted or should have if this practitioner of over 40 years had done his job instead of thinking with his wallet before thinking of the patients well being and health. So I walked away from there. Canceled my next appointment and have not booked another one with that “dentist”. It has been over a year now that I have not gone near a dentist. I will try again with this new one and see what she is like. Only I will tell her my story and make sure she understands; no filling only extractions. No cosmetic repairs, only pain relief. There is a war in my mouth, teeth are dying and I need someone to stop this agonizing pain from crushing my spirit and killing me with pain.
